Personal interview with Bradley Dredge

Hi all,

Here is my latest interview with Bradley Dredge the player of the European circuit, I have the great luck to be able to train with him, a few days ago we met for diner and I took the opportunity to ask him about all of my curiosities about him, I hope you like it.

What is your favourite film?
“Shawsank Redemption”.

What is your favourite food?
Thai massaman curry.

Which is your favourite golf course?
Carnoustie in Scotland.

What was the best shot of your life?
Hit a 6 iron and left it 6 feet away from the hole in the final of Crans Montana in Switzerland.

What would the shot of your dreams be?
Sink a put from 3 feet to win the Augusta Masters.

What would you never repeat on a golf course?
Go out to play with 15 clubs in my bag.

What do you usually do during the weeks you don’t compete?
Practice a lot and train in the gym for the next tournament.

What would be you ideal match?
Tiger Woods, Ben Hogan. Jack Nicklaus and me.

What do you usually do when you have a day off at home?
Relax by the pool, read a book, play pool and eat and drink well.

What do you least like about travelling?
Waiting in airports, that the clubs don’t arrive as the same time as me and to be in a hotel with bad food.

Which was your first victory on tour?
The Madeira Open in 2003.

How long have you played on tour?
Since 1998.

What is the worst thing that has ever happened to you on a golf course?
I took a shot from the bunker, the ball rebounded and it hit me in the lip, concluding in two penalty strokes.

Does jet lag affect you?
Often because you can’t sleep the necessary hours and you can’t eat at the times you’re used to.

Which is the prettiest city you have ever visited?
Venice (I went on holiday).
